Are you an entrepreneurial student with a passion for marketing who wants to contribute to the international growth of World Horti Center? Then this internship might be for you! World Horti Center is the leading knowledge and innovation center for greenhouse horticulture in the Netherlands. Every year, we welcome around 40,000 visitors from all over the world, ranging from journalists and companies to government representatives. They come to learn about the horticultural sector and the solutions we offer in the Netherlands. With Dutch horticultural solutions, we contribute to global food security and safety, health, and well-being. We do this in close collaboration with our 130 partners from business, education, research, and government. World Horti Center currently has two hub locations in China and South Korea and is developing two additional locations. Therefore, we are looking for support!

What will you do?
You will support the International Manager and help position World Horti Center more strongly on a global scale. Your tasks will include, among others:
• You have a passion for communication and will be given plenty of freedom for your own input, particularly in further developing the WeChat account by setting up a content plan.
• You will map various stakeholders for a number of focus countries.
• You will have frequent contact with our partners to identify their needs by setting up and conducting surveys and interviews among (potential) partners.
• You will collect and analyze relevant market information, developments, trends, and customer needs.
• There is plenty of room for your own ideas—if you spot new opportunities, they are more than welcome!

What do you bring?
• You are entrepreneurial, solution-oriented, and goal-driven.
• At least a bachelor’s (HBO) level of working and thinking (3rd- or 4th-year internship).
• An interest in international business, and you enjoy researching topics while also being hands-on.
• A service-oriented mindset and excellent social and communication skills.
• Strong command of the English language, both spoken and written. Knowledge of Chinese and Dutch is a plus.
