Agricultural greenhouses are key toward a sustainable food supply, however they have significant energetic needs due to heating and artificial lightening. There is a push from governments, retailers and consumers to reduce carbon footprint of greenhouses. Voltiris enables double-use of large greenhouses surfaces to produce electricity without impacting their high agricultural yield. Voltiris introduces a solar panel design to generate electricity from the part of sunlight's spectrum that is unused for crop growth.

Internship: Business Development Benelux

Location: The Hague, Netherlands (hybrid, 60% office presence required)

Your mission

As an intern supporting our business development activities in Benelux, you will work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams in The Hague.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the full sales cycle: outreach, qualification, meetings, proposals, and follow-up

• Lead identification: conducting market analysis and identifying growers, cooperatives, and other relevant prospects

• Lead qualification: reaching out to growers and cooperatives through cold calling, emailing, events, etc., and setting up meetings with growers and Voltiris Sales Managers

• Meeting preparation: preparing tailor-made presentations for customer meetings and presenting our technology, company, and the benefits we can bring to growers

• Analytics: analysing grower energy data and different economic factors to assess how our technology could fit their operations

• Understanding customer needs and helping propose high-value technical solutions

• Supporting the setup and organisation of marketing activities, events, and publications

• Supporting the customer success journey by visiting customers, gathering feedback and relevant technical data, and helping improve customer satisfaction

• Supporting market analysis and strategic business development initiatives

• Representing Voltiris at trade fairs, industry events, and customer visits
  
  

Profile we are looking for:

• Recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Agriculture, Energy, or a related field

• Strong interest in sales, marketing, renewable energy, agritech, and innovation

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Proactive mindset with strong autonomy and curiosity

• Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment, with a high level of flexibility

• Native-level Dutch

• Fluent English required, both spoken and written

• Willingness to travel independently and frequently across Benelux

• Driving licence required

• Experience in horticulture, agriculture, or renewable energy is a strong plus
