The Role

You will play a key role in managing accounting activities across multiple European entities while supporting our headquarters in the Netherlands. Rather than focusing only on local operations, you will be part of our broader international finance structure, driving smooth financial processes, improving controls, and helping the business scale sustainably.

This role is ideal for someone who takes ownership, works independently, and thrives in a fast-paced scale-up environment where precision, pragmatism, and collaboration go hand in hand.

In strong collaboration with the team in Amsterdam, you’ll make an impact by

  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, VAT filings, tax reporting, and statutory requirements across multiple jurisdictions

  • Supporting intercompany reconciliations and group reporting activities

  • Booking accruals, payroll journals, and general accounting entries with accuracy and confidence

  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and treasury activities

  • Improving procurement workflows and internal approval processes

  • Contributing to the implementation and optimization of MS Dynamics modules and finance operations

  • Partnering with external accountants, auditors, tax advisors, and local stakeholders where needed

  • Identifying smarter ways of working and continuously improving financial controls and operational efficiency

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • 5–7 years of accounting experience, ideally within a start-up, scale-up, or fast-growing international business

  • Experience supporting manufacturing, operations, hardware, or industrial environments is highly preferred

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance across international business structures

  • Experience with month-end and year-end close processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting

  • Knowledge of IFRS and experience working with Dutch and/or broader European financial reporting structures is a strong plus

  • Experience with MS Dynamics CRM/ERP is highly preferred

  • Someone who works independently, takes ownership, and doesn’t wait to be told where the fire is

  • A strong collaborator who can work seamlessly with cross-border teams and stakeholders

  • Strong communication skills in English

  • Experience working in an international environment is a strong plus

  • You are curious, adaptable, and excited by growth, not intimidated by it

  • Requires availability to work from our Katowice office following its launch.

Apart from working with great colleagues and a competitive package, you can also expect:

  • A unique start-up environment offering organic professional and personal growth at one of the most innovative cleantech companies of Europe!

  • A competitive salary package aligned with Polish market standards, with regular review cycles

  • A diverse (38+ nationalities) and fun team to work with.

  • Recharge with 25 vacation days, plus a little extra when life throws something special your way.

  • Exposure to international finance operations across Europe and the Netherlands HQ
