What we do at Ridder

At Ridder we work with passion alongside our customers to build a sustainable agri food sector worldwide. As a key player in international horticulture we develop and deliver technical solutions that help growers produce food and flowers more sustainably. As an innovative family company with 350 colleagues we have been closely involved with our customers for more than 70 years, wherever they are.

Although a fully autonomous and intelligent greenhouse is still in the future, Ridder has been building the building blocks for years to make this possible in time. Our portfolio of hardware, software and services, including drive systems and climate screens, makes us unique in the greenhouse and horticulture market. From two production locations in the Netherlands and sales offices in France, Spain, Mexico, the United States, Canada and China, our products reach partners such as installers and greenhouse builders as well as end users such as growers and livestock farmers.

What you will find at Ridder

We team up every day to make things a little better for our customers and for our people. Your personal development comes first. Your ideas and perspective matter. Together we set goals and see it as our job to support you in achieving them. We grow stronger together.

Your role at Ridder

As a young professional in after sales you develop your expertise and are a key player in the After Sales department. You analyse the technical problem, consult with various departments, and then discuss the possible solutions with the international customer. If a service engineer needs to visit on site, you organise the technical visit.

In addition to the operational work you actively look for ways to improve our service to customers and our internal organisation. Improvements may be process related or product related. You apply new information and insights in your work and share this knowledge and your ideas across the organisation. You maintain contact with international customers and with colleagues at our international locations. You grow into a valuable discussion partner for both customers and colleagues and, because you are eager to learn and open to development, you take ownership.

Your responsibilities

  • Support in analysing issues and offering appropriate solutions
  • Contribute to implementing the chosen solution
  • Actively participate in improvement projects
  • Ensure clear communication and alignment with all stakeholders
  • Carry out the day to day activities within After Sales

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to non technical stakeholders
  • Experience coordinating customer projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Fluent in Dutch and English. Knowledge of other languages is a plus
