Role Overview
As GCC Center Lead, you will provide senior leadership to a mature, anchor Global Capability Center in Pune, serving as a key node within the broader GCC network. The role carries full accountability for strategic direction, scale, and performance of a center sized for 100–200 employees, with strong integration into global operations.
This is a leadership role within the GCC ecosystem, focused on stabilizing, scaling, and continuously evolving an established center, while ensuring alignment with global strategy, operational excellence, and talent maturity.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership and Network Integration
- Serve as the senior leader of the India GCC, positioning it as a strategic anchor within the global GCC network.
- Partner with global executives and functional leaders to shape the long‑term roadmap of the center, ensuring alignment with business priorities and global operating models.
- Strengthen the GCC’s role as a value‑adding, future‑ready capability hub rather than a pure execution center.
Operational & Governance Excellence
- Lead end‑to‑end operations of a mature GCC, ensuring consistent, high‑quality service delivery to global stakeholders.
- Own governance, performance management, and service frameworks across functions, with clear KPIs, SLAs, and continuous improvement mechanisms.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards, local regulations, and global policies.
People Leadership & Organizational Maturity
- Lead and develop a senior leadership team capable of managing scale and complexity.
- Foster a strong leadership culture emphasizing accountability, ownership, transparency, and people development.
- Build a stable, engaged organization suited for a 100–200 employee context, balancing efficiency with employee experience.
Stakeholder Management & Administration
- Act as the primary representative of the GCC internally and externally.
- Maintain strong alignment with global business, technology, and functional leaders.
- Communicate progress, risks, and strategic outcomes regularly to executive stakeholders.
Financial & Vendor Oversight
- Own financial planning, budgets, and cost optimization for the center.
- Manage vendor and partner relationships in line with the scale and maturity of the GCC.
- Ensure financial sustainability while supporting growth and capability expansion.
Requirements
Who We’re Looking For
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required; a Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is a strong advantage.
- leadership experience leading and sustaining mature Global Capability Centers, preferably within a multi‑GCC or networked model.
- Proven capability in financial management, budget ownership, and P&L oversight within complex, scaled operations.
Leadership and Communication Skills
- Exceptional people leadership capabilities, including influencing at senior levels, coaching leadership teams, and building succession-ready organizations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage, align, and influence stakeholders across all levels and geographies.
