Plant Manager
Summary Position.
The Plant Manager will oversee all operations at our Netafim Reynosa Mexico plant, ensuring efficient production, maintaining high quality standards and fostering a safe and productive work environment. This position requires a strategic leader with extensive experience in the agriculture or manufacturing sector, capable of driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Job Functions:
Operational Management:
· Oversee daily plant operations, ensuring compliance with production schedules.
· Implement and monitor production key performance indicators to ensure efficiency and quality.
· Develop and implement operating policies and procedures.
· Promote lean manufacturing and other best practices that help operations perform at their best.
· Manage interfaces with the Mexican, American and Central American markets and key people in the corporate.
· Management in the P&L of the plant.
· Handling the purchase of RM/PM (dotted line to corporate).
Team leadership:
· Lead, mentor and develop the management team and plant personnel.
· Foster a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement.
· Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
Quality Assurance:
· Ensure that all products meet or exceed industry and company quality standards.
· Implement and maintain quality control systems.
· Quickly address and resolve any quality issues by applying data-driven problem-solving methodologies.
· Promote effective communication with customers.
Safety and compliance:
· - Promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
· - Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.
· - Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
Financial management:
· Develop and manage the plant budget.
· Monitor and control operating costs.
· Identify and implement cost savings initiatives.
· Identify any deviation from budget and mitigate with effective actions.
· Develop forecasts and projections based on run rates and statistics.
Strategic planning:
· Develop and execute strategic plans to improve plant performance.
· Collaborate with senior management to align plant operations with company objectives.
· Stay abreast of industry trends and developments.
· Improve lead times by focusing on raw material and work-in-process.

Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration or related field; MBA preferred.
· Minimum of 8 years of plant management experience within the agricultural or manufacturing industry.
· Six Sixma (Green Belt), NOM-035, Lean Manufacturing, ISO 9001-2015.
· Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
· Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
· Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and other continuous improvement methodologies.
· Strong knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
· Lean, P&L, ERP system.
· Being bilingual and fluent in English and Spanish
· Office software skills.
· Availability to travel, Visa and passport.
