About the Role: The Iberia Commercial Manager is responsible for the overall commercial and operational management of Netafim's activities in Spain and Portugal, including sales, gross margin and cash flow growth, business development, demand creation, and customer relations. The role focuses on seeking and pursuing new business growth opportunities while ensuring alignment with Netafim’s global strategy. This position requires a highly experienced leader in the Iberian market who can drive expansion while managing Netafim’s exclusive dealership in the region and exploring alternative channels, geographical areas, and product lines for future business development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis: Continuously assess market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to refine Netafim’s positioning and drive competitive advantage
• Sales Driven Leadership: Develop and implement the regional sales strategy to drive longterm business growth, balancing immediate goals with future market expansion.
• Market Leadership: Maintain and expand Netafim’s leading position in precision agriculture and irrigation, leveraging the company’s product portfolio, expertise, and service offerings.
• Business Development & Distribution Growth: base on market knowledge and data driven analysis - drive new opportunities and sales growth through capitalization on full product portfolio including digital farming, go-to-market opportunities, cost-leadership, product portfolio expansion, projects execution – from design to execution, and other
• Financial & Operational Management: Oversee financial performance and ensure achievement of Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Customer & Business Relations: Explore growth through legacy distributor while actively exploring new models of engagement. Build relationships and nurture strong relationships with key market stakeholders including investment funds in agriculture, corporate farms, master dealers, end users, and industry decision-makers to secure immediate business success.
• Strengthen brand awareness. Ensure market leadership across the diverse product portfolio.
• Team Development: gradually develop talented local sales team with high-performance culture aligned with Netafim’s values. Build leadership capabilities and ensure succession planning for key positions

• Hands-on approach with a strong field orientation and understanding of the agricultural sector and irrigation industry.
Required Education & Experience:
• Minimum 15+ years of experience in sales, marketing, and business development in the irrigation market in the Iberian Peninsula with a proven track record in sale and EBITDA growth.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (both written and spoken). Portuguese is an advantage.
• Deep understanding of the agro-market dynamics in Iberia, including knowledge of dealership structures and direct sales models.
• Familiarity with Netafim’s products and offerings.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; a Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
