Description

OBJECTIVES

- Take responsibility for the internal quality system, associated documentation and monitoring and optimization of internal processes.

- Support for the development of internal work processes

FUNCTIONS AND TASKS

A. Implementation of Netafim’s Global Quality Policy.

B. Implement global quality control procedures.

C. Create SWIs in accordance with relevant quality procedures and train the local team.

D. Create a matrix of competencies, train and improve the knowledge of the quality team.

E. Manage internal audits (such as process audits, QMS audits, QMA-Quality Maturity Assessment).

F. Manage external audits to ensure compliance with required certifications.

G. Manage the plant quality management system effectively and efficiently.

H. Communicate with the local production, engineering, maintenance and planning team to achieve optimal quality.

I. Monitor/verify that quality control and laboratory equipment are functioning properly. If any maintenance/improvement is required, contact the appropriate equipment.

J. Perform GEMBA and follow up so that all plant activities are carried out in accordance with Netafim’s procedures.

K. Monitor compliance with the quality procedure in purchasing and procurement operations, storage of raw materials, production process, storage and processing of finished products, customer service, management of resources and delivery of final product to the customer.

L. Manage equipment and GR&R calibration routines.

M. Manage/monitor quality control and laboratory activities.

N. Create a quality-oriented training programme for the quality team, technical equipment, rewind operator and end-of-line operator.

O. Manage/follow up customer complaints and prepare/lead 8D, FMEA analyses and track TDL activities. If necessary, conduct field visit, on-site problem analysis and sales team support.

P. Lead/manage TIER-1 and TIER 2 quality meetings.

Q. Apply quality standards for raw materials, auxiliary materials, finished product and production process stages. Ensure the quality of raw materials through inspection and laboratory testing.

R. Identify, implement and monitor quality management indicators (KPIs).

S. Participate in corporate and local meetings (regional quality review, MOR, MQR, OPEX, production status, etc.)

T. Prepare the MQR submission and present it to the corporate and local team monthly.

U. Create and follow the audit plan.

V. Prepare and manage the annual quality implementation plan.

W. Ensure interdepartmental alignment, through fluid communication with all, establishing the value chain and contribution of each party, detecting bottlenecks and proposing solutions for progress.

X. Provide technical support to the Customer Service by providing the necessary technical documentation and preparing relevant reports.

Requirements

ACADEMIC TRAINING

Minimum: Industrial Engineering

Desirable: Industrial Engineering & MBA

SPECIFIC TRAINING

Specific knowledge:

- In-depth knowledge of QMS, quality tools, quality control, lean and six-sigma

Computer skills:

- Office (Word, Excel) advanced level. General knowledge of ERP and CRM systems.

EXPERIENCE

- Minimum experience 5 years in industrial production plant within the quality area

- Experience in lean management

LANGUAGES

- English C2, advanced level (negotiation)
