The Global Quality & OpEx Senior Manager is responsible to drive and achieve highest level of Quality and OpEx culture and performance at the region to support the business needs.
Work environment: Hybrid, location at Americas (preferred in Hermosillo Mexico), travels within the region and abroad
Major areas of responsibility, main processes, tasks:
· Member of the Global Quality and OpEx Management team.
· Quality
o Full professional responsibility for the quality at the region.
o Matrix management of the quality managers at the sites in the region.
o Guide, train and support the quality teams at the sites.
o Lead quality aspects as part of Product Development, ECOs and change management at the sites.
o Responsible for "end2end" quality issues at the region.
o Define and implement global QC, QMS standards and work instructions.
o Standardize and deploy knowledge sharing / best practices from other sites and external benchmarks.
o Lead processes, methods and tools to achieve highest quality and efficiency.
o Lead the quality routines at the region.
o Manage and control quality KPI's.
o Lead and drive knowledge sharing globally.
o Lead and drive continuous improvement activities using problem-solving methods.
o Perform quality maturity assessment, QMS and process audits to drive the quality at the sites.
o Support external audits and maintain communication with notification bodies, external labs, for the QMS and product certification.
· OpEx
o Full responsibility to create a culture of lean at the sites and to achieve the OpEx KPIs.
o Manage the regional OpEx routines, KPIs and reports.
o Deploy Netafim Global Lean framework and AOP at the region.
o Improve performance and reduce wastes by increasing the OpEx maturity level and by leading end2end cost saving and improved performance projects and activities using OpEx tools.
o Guide, train and support the lean leaders at the sites.
o Perform OMA and 5S+ assessment at the sites.
o Manage the OpEx deployment plan (for new sites and on-going).
o Drive and train the people with lean methodology and tools.
o Facilitate lean activities such as: Kaizen, VSM, 5S+, SMED
o Standardize and deploy knowledge sharing / best practices from other sites and external benchmarks.
Requirements
Required Knowledge and experience:
· BSC engineering, MSC/MBA preferred.
· Previous successful experience as quality manager and in leading quality managers at industrial environment.
· Previous successful experience in deploying lean methodology.
· Experience from global companies.
· Knowledge and experience in ISO 9001 (and other QMS), Lean and Six-Sigma.
· High level of communication in English & Spanish (verbal and written).
· Advantages:
o Quality, Lean & Six-Sigma certifications (e.g., CMQ/CQE, Lean & Six-Sigma Black Belt, Auditor certification).
o Proficiency in digitalized tools for Quality & OpEx management.
o Proficiency in SAP and MES.
o Knowledge & Experience in plastic extrusion and injection.
