TASKS AND FUNCTIONS
- Lead continuous improvement and process optimization projects.
- Plan, standardize, execute and monitor critical process improvement projects.
- Audit the different processes and identify opportunities for improvement, with the aim of reducing any type of waste.
- Collect and analyze process data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Use statistical and analytical tools to assess the impact of improvement initiatives.
- Coordination with different departments to ensure successful implementation of projects.
- Document project procedures, instructions and results, train staff.
- Report all results obtained month by month to your direct manager.
2.Apply lean tools and techniques to improve operational efficiency.
- Analyze the costs of improvements and estimate the savings for the company.
- Ensure compliance with 5s+ routines, audit the different areas and establish action plans.
- Perform mini-Kaizen, Gemba Walk etc., record managed improvement changes and communicate to staff.
- Report the actions taken to your direct manager.
3.Fostering a culture of continuous improvement through staff training
- Train and train staff in basic principles and practices of Lean & OPEX such as, 5s+, RSP, SMED, TPM etc.
- Ensure that the training provided is monitored using the Skill Matrix.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, empower staff to participate in improvement initiatives.
4.Motivate staff to contribute to continuous improvement with their ideas, follow up on them, give feedback, vote for them with the rest of the managers.
5.Contribute to the improvement of product quality and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in the final product controls, for example, mechanization of some tests performed.
- Participate in the development of the Quality Management System, contribute to the development of a quality culture.
- Participate in the follow-up of observations that may arise from audits of ISO 9001:2015 standards, communicate them to other departments and ensure they comply.
- Assist with other tasks requested by your direct supervisor.
