The production Planner/Scheduler reviews production demand and ensure production orders are scheduled in SAP to achieve on time delivery of products to meet Customer's expectations. Must ensure availability of needed production components while suggesting and implementing strategies to improve Days of Supply. Responsible for New product request work and for assembly planning. Analyzes supply, demand and production data and presents opportunities for improvement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties as assigned.)

Production Scheduling in SAP to meet the needs of customers, production team and other stakeholders.

Ensure availability of BOM and coordinating with relevant stakeholders.

Monitor production activities comparing to expected progress. Assess deviations and take or suggest relevant courses of action.

Connect with customer service team to ensure on time delivery of product.

Coordinate with production activity leaders to seek the best balance between efficiency and the needs of our stakeholders.

Responsible for assigned Mfg. performance KPI’s and cost savings initiatives.

Practices and maintains the highest safety standards by participating in and promoting our safety culture.

Create BOM and Routing for activities related to assembly.

Review component shortages backlog and work with procurement for on time delivery.

Creating bills of material and routings for new products in partnership with Product line and Finance leaders.

Executing the process for BOM and Routing approvals and then updating in SAP.

Analyze and compare production performance data to other Manufacturing plants using a combination of BI, Manufacturing execution system and other analytical tools.

Collect the various data from SAP, Manufacturing platform and BI tools, to identify trends and opportunities for improvement or best practices. Present for decision making.

Prepare presentations for various meetings and clearly communicate/explain the key take-aways.

Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

-Meetings to include Safety and Tier Meetings.

-Timely update to Plant Manager.

-Partner with Global and Regional counterparts.

-Lead meetings.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS include the following:

- BS degree in Eng. Or MBA in Planning

- Expert in MS Office

- Analytical mindset

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

-BS degree. / MBA

-Experience in production and Inventory planning.

-Experience in data analysis

-Production floor knowledge.

-Good communication skills to collaborate with relevant stakeholders.

-Strong computer skills

-Lean and Operational excellence will be advantage
