Position overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented Area Key Account Manager to join our team in Germany. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and managing key accounts, driving sales and maintaining strong relationships with customers in the agricultural sector.

1. key account management

- Develop and maintain close relationships with our premium customers in the agricultural and landscaping sectors.

- Understand your customers' business needs and challenges and provide customized solutions using Netafim's precision irrigation products.

2. sales strategy and execution

- Expand our partner pool - implement the integration of partners and ensure growth

- Develop strategic sales plans together with our partners and implement them to achieve your sales targets.

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.

- Work with the sales team to ensure a consistent approach to market penetration.

- Participation in roadshows, field days and exhibitions

3. product knowledge and training

- Stay up to date on Netafim's precision irrigation product offering and industry trends.

- Provide training and product knowledge to customers and internal teams.

4. market analysis

- Get to know your market and your competition: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity and potential growth areas.

- Provide insights and recommendations to the leadership team based on market analysis.

5. customer service

- You act as the main point of contact for key accounts and deal with their inquiries and concerns immediately.

- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.

6 Reporting and analysis

- Generate regular reports on sales performance, market trends and account activity.

- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and take corrective action.



1. bachelor's degree in agriculture, business or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

2. proven experience in key account management, preferably in the agricultural or landscaping industry.

3. strong understanding of irrigation systems, especially drip irrigation.

4. excellent communication and negotiation skills.

5. the ability to work independently and cooperatively in a dynamic environment.

6. native German and fluent English.
