KPAs AND ACTIVITIES:

• Define 3yeat OPEX strategy for Chennai plant in align with India region Baroda plant.
• Prepare and focus on continuous Process Improvement Projects.
• Facilitate Lean Tools like VSM, SMED, RCCA, RPS, Kanban, Kaizen events and VM.
• Operational excellence maturity assessment throughout in plant by department wise
• To prepare the Lean & 5s training plan in align with people function to upgrade the skill level of plant members.
• Enable Lean leader to provide training on lean tool as identified in skill matrix lean training.
• Responsible to improve the operations thought process improvement, standardization, and training.
• Monthly OPEX deployment reviewing with plant manager and HOD’s level.
• Supporting plant level OPEX / Engineering efforts.
• Write processes and procedures accordingly Netafim standards for new process or upgraded process.
• Actively engage with manufacturing team, develop, and implement Best Practices across plant.
• Write performance reports of plant and circulate with relevant persons.
• Facilitate in 5Y, Fishbone, Root cause corrective action events.
• Collect the various data from SAP, MES and QlikView to analysis operation efficiency.
• Checking SAP Vs MES interface and communicate to IT if any correction required.
• Prepare various reports in relevant to OPEX and Lean process based on data generated and present to management.
• Efficient handling of SAP & MES system to keep track of entire shift management
• Execute LEAN management system in the department and measure the productivity.
• Prepare of new product BOM & Routing & existing updating as required
• MIS reports preparation and circulate.
• Deliver continuous improvement in system and process for productivity and cost savings.
• Hands on lean experience in leading Lean Tools, 5s and OPEX project.

Education qualifications:

BE / B. Tech Engineer, Other bachelor’s degree.

Experience: Minimum – 2 years from Automobile / manufacturing / Relevant

Location: Chennai, Tamilnadu, India.
