Business Development Manager

What are you up to?

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in Cultivation and/or Agricultural Technology as well having a solid understanding of AI-driven technologies. In this role, you will take ownership of expanding our presence in key markets, building strategic partnerships and driving sustainable business growth.

You’ll play a pivotal role in connecting our cutting-edge AI and computer vision solutions with real-world challenges in modern agriculture — helping growers and partners unlock the full potential of data-driven cultivation.

  • Identify, pursue and close new business opportunities with large growers, greenhouse operators, distributors and Agricultural Technology partners.
  • Develop partnerships with technology platforms, distributors, and integrators within the agricultural sector.
  • Translate complex technical product value (AI, computer vision, data insights) into clear, measurable business benefits for customers.
  • Collaborate closely with the product and software teams to provide market feedback and help shape future product development.
  • Represent us at industry events and through direct engagement with customers and partners.
  • Work closely with leadership to define market direction and customer needs.

In your role you will be accountable to the Commercial Director.

What do you bring?

  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in business development or sales within Agricultural Technology.
  • Strong understanding of the agricultural production ecosystem (e.g., greenhouses, seed producers, and agri-technologies).
  • Familiarity with AI and computer vision applications — you don’t need to be a developer, but you understand what’s possible and can translate that into customer value.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering growth, organizing complex deals and expanding into new markets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, willingness to travel and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
