Our machines and automated systems are used worldwide. How do we ensure they comply with the requirements of different markets and that we can demonstrate this properly? As Product Compliance Engineer, you maintain the overview. You translate legislation and standards into clear requirements for our products and support engineering in applying them.

Machine safety, CE marking and the new European Machinery Regulation are important parts of your work. In addition, you investigate which requirements apply outside Europe. You bring together information from Mechanical, Electrical and Controls engineering into a complete and up-to-date compliance file for our machines and systems.

What will you do?

You are the point of contact for product compliance within Logiqs. Together with our engineers, you ensure that the right requirements are taken into account from the start of the design and project process. The engineers remain responsible for the technical content within their respective disciplines. You support them, maintain the overall overview and check whether the required substantiation and documentation are in place.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Researching applicable legislation, standards and product requirements for the markets in which we operate.
  • Monitoring changes, including the new European Machinery Regulation, and translating them into actions for our products, processes and documentation.
  • Guiding risk assessments and supporting engineers with safety-related issues and improvement measures.
  • Compiling, reviewing and managing complete compliance files, including risk assessments, electrical documentation, test and validation results, declarations and manuals.
  • Working with Controls engineering to document the structure, requirements, implementation and validation of safety functions, including relevant PLC and safety software, configurations and versions.
  • Developing clear working methods and documentation standards, ensuring that knowledge and substantiation are documented systematically and can be reused.

Who are we looking for?

You combine technical insight with a structured approach. You enjoy determining which requirements apply and can translate them into practical choices for your colleagues. You ask critical questions, identify where substantiation is missing and maintain an overview across different disciplines and projects.

  • You have a technical degree, for example in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or electrical engineering.
  • You have experience with product compliance, machine safety, CE marking and risk assessments within machine building or industrial automation.
  • You have knowledge of functional safety and understand how safety functions are specified, substantiated and validated.
  • You can assess legislation and standards and translate them into technical requirements and the necessary documentation.
  • You understand the relationship between mechanics, electrical engineering, controls and software.
  • You can document technical information clearly and communicate effectively in both Dutch and English.

Experience with product requirements outside Europe is a plus.

What do we offer?

At Logiqs, we believe in autonomous teams: you make it happen together with your colleagues!

  • A role in which you can further develop product compliance within Logiqs.
  • Plenty of freedom and responsibility to improve our working methods and documentation.
  • The opportunity to work on innovative machines and systems for international projects.
  • A competitive salary based on your knowledge and experience.
  • 25 vacation days, with the option to purchase additional days.
  • A good pension scheme and opportunities for your professional development.
  • Engaged colleagues, direct communication and a pleasant working environment.
