Logiqs develops and delivers advanced, automated cultivation and storage systems for horticulture and warehousing worldwide and operates in more than 20 countries. From our office in the Westland region, we work on technically complex, international projects in which hardware, software, and control systems are fully integrated into one scalable solution. We stay ahead through a combination of deep technical expertise, customization, and a clear technological advantage.

Our systems combine mechanical solutions with intelligent software, including robotics, internal transport, and advanced climate and cultivation control. This enables our customers to further automate, optimize, and scale their processes.

In addition, we develop proprietary software for the systems we deliver, providing real-time insight and control while continuously optimizing performance. Combined with our service and maintenance activities, this allows us to build long-term customer relationships and maximize lifecycle value.

Revenue consists of a mix of project-based assignments and a growing share of recurring income from software licenses and after-sales services (such as service, maintenance, and parts). This development contributes to greater predictability and scalability of the organization.

The company is currently in a phase of further growth and internationalization. This requires strengthening financial control and further professionalizing the organization.

The role

As Controller, you are ultimately responsible for the financial function and are part of the management team. You act as a sparring partner to the management team and play a key role in the operational steering of the organization.

You will join at a stage where further growth, international expansion, and professionalization are central. This requires someone who can further strengthen the financial foundation and ensure control, predictability, and scalability.

The role offers, in the longer term, a growth path toward a full CFO position and is therefore attractive for:
• Candidates from accountancy who want to transition into industry
• Controllers who want to grow into a fully responsible leadership role

You do not need to be a CFO yet – ambition, vision, and development potential are decisive for us! At the same time, this is explicitly a hands-on role, meaning you will be actively involved in execution, including month-end and year-end closing activities.

You will work closely with the business and be heavily involved in projects: from initial costing to post-calculation, with a focus on profitability, risk, and control. In addition, you will play an important role in further structuring and managing recurring revenue streams from software licenses and after-sales services.

Responsibilities

In this role, you are responsible for further professionalizing the financial function and strengthening control over growth, profitability, and scalability:

• Overall responsibility for the financial function (administration, reporting, consolidation, and annual accounts)
• Preparing and monitoring budgets and forecasts
• Managing cash flow and working capital
• Acting as a sparring partner to the management team, including developing KPI structures and management information
• Strengthening project control (costing, progress monitoring, and post-calculation)
• Involvement in project meetings, contract review, and risk management
• Managing relationships with the bank and external auditor; including coordination of the annual audit
• Optimizing processes and systems (our ERP system is Exact Globe+)
• Hands-on contribution to monthly and annual closing processes
