As Contract Manager Mechatronics, you operate within a category team and are end-to-end responsible for managing suppliers and contracts within the mechatronics domain. You play a key role in enabling supplier innovation and safeguarding continuity, quality, and cost performance across a complex, high-tech supply base. You work closely with colleagues from Product Development, Proposition Management, Operations, and other stakeholders within the Integrated Supply Chain, as well as with external partners.
Your main responsibilities are:
- Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with mechatronics suppliers and monitor their performance on quality, logistics, technology, cost, and compliance.
- Manage, draft, and continuously improve contracts and framework agreements, ensuring compliance and optimal commercial value.
- Negotiate pricing, quality, and delivery terms, including contract renewals and (semi-)annual price agreements.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate supply risks at supplier and item level to ensure continuity and reliability.
- Lead sourcing and contracting projects and select suppliers for technical and innovation-driven projects within the existing supplier landscape.
- Contribute to value engineering, cost reduction initiatives, continuous improvement projects, and procurement-related development activities.
