Thanks to sourcing, we reduce our time to hire, increase our knowledge of the labor market, and approach recruitment in a data-driven way. That is how seriously we take sourcing. We do not see it as an activity you can do on the side, or as a stepping stone to becoming a recruiter. We see it as a specialization in its own right.
As a Talent Sourcer, you are able to find the right talent in today’s scarce labor market and spark their enthusiasm for Lely, a growing company that continuously creates revolutions in the agricultural sector to make it more sustainable, profitable and enjoyable. At the same time, you are also our labor market data guru, holding up a mirror for us. What can we ask for and what kind of talent is out there? Not just nationally, but also internationally.
A typical day: You start with a stand-up meeting with the entire Talent Acquisition team, consisting of recruiters, talent sourcers, a campus recruiter, a recruitment marketer and an employer brand specialist. In this meeting we discuss activities and highlight where we need help or can offer support. After that, you work with your sourcing colleagues, while also staying in touch with hiring managers for updates on the sourcing process of their vacancies.
Around midday you enjoy lunch with the team in our company restaurant, which offers a wide selection of sandwiches, salads and snacks, giving you the energy to continue your work in the afternoon. At the end of the day, you can blow off some steam in our Lely Gym or on our padel court!
