Digital transformation is a key factor in realizing our strategic plan, and Business Intelligence (BI) plays a vital role in this. BI focuses on data from business processes and applications (not robot data), such as Sales, Finance, and Operations. The BI team is part of the Shared Service Center IT and is known as a reliable and efficient business partner across Lely.

What will you do?

You’ll be part of the BI analyst team, currently consisting of six data analysts. Our data warehouse and data governance teams are part of the same department, and we work closely together.

The BI team receives many requests from various internal departments. Our business analysts work on new requests in a project-based manner, improve existing solutions (dashboards or datasets), and resolve issues.

We are preparing for future demand by migrating all datasets to the cloud and launching the “Transition to Self-Service BI” program.

We’re looking for a versatile analyst who can work with various applications. One day you might be building a management report in Tableau, and the next you’ll be helping colleagues write queries or create reports in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, etc.

Your responsibilities include:

• Creating data models based on business requests and for visualization purposes.
• Developing visualizations in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Contributing to report maintenance and consistency.
• Supporting colleagues outside the BI team with visualizations and data models across different platforms.
• Identifying process and project improvements and translating them into actionable steps.
