Our robotics solutions are developed within a multidisciplinary structure, where engineers from different disciplines, especially mechanical engineering, software, and electronics, collaborate within a project organization. The Lely Product Development team is organized in a matrix model, where Competence Centers ensure the availability of the required development competencies, tools, and supporting processes and Business Teams ensure focus on the product.

Team Lead Software Testing

We have a Competence Center for Integrated Testing & Verification that collaborates closely with various disciplines to create and execute tests, ensuring the quality of our products. We are currently seeking an experienced engineer to lead a group of software testers responsible for testing and verifying software, including its integration into our robotic systems.

In this role, as a leader who sets a positive example, your task is to guide the process that ultimately leads to product releases. You will assist in testing the products, mentor the testers, and raise awareness about the importance of testable requirements and data-driven conclusions. You will determine the strategy for system verification and provide advice on the maturity of designs tested in different phases.

Moreover, you excel in interpersonal skills, and as a manager, you will lead a group of 7 to 14 junior, mid-level, and senior engineers. You will support them in both their technical and personal development. Within this role, you have the opportunity to engage intensively with both technology and people. Essential skills include maintaining an overview and identifying opportunities to bridge gaps during the development process.
