Your Role
As an Account Manager, you are responsible for managing and expanding Jiffy’s customer base in the central region (Province Zeeland, South Gelderland and Mid & West Brabant) of the Netherlands and East & West Flanders in Belgium. You report to the Sales Area Manager North Europe.
You will:
- Expand your customer portfolio.
- Identify and convert sales opportunities.
- Monitor market trends and competitors.
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers.
- Visit customers and advise on Jiffy’s growing solutions.
- Provide after-sales support.
- Participate in trade fairs and events.
- Maintain CRM records.
- Contribute to sales meetings.
Your Profile
We are looking for an Account Manager with a passion for cultivation, who proactively engages with customers and advises them on Jiffy’s substrates and solutions to improve their growing performance. You are confident, persuasive, and results-driven. You collaborate closely with colleagues while also thriving in an independent role.
Expertise
- HBO level (Bachelor’s) in Plant Science, Commercial Economics, or Business Administration.
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience (preferably horticulture).
- Knowledge of cultivation and substrates is a plus.
- Network in the sector is an advantage.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- Experience with MS Office 365 and CRM/ERP systems.
