Your Role:

As a React Developer at Greenhouse Sustainability, you'll play a vital role in developing and maintaining our suite of cutting-edge footprint calculation tools, directly impacting our clients' sustainability efforts and empowering them to gain crucial insights and lower their emissions. You'll have the opportunity to own projects from start to finish, working independently on some assignments while collaborating closely with other departments and clients on others. This balance of autonomy and teamwork will allow you to showcase your problem-solving skills and contribute directly to our mission of creating a greener future.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain software tools for footprint calculations, including web applications, data visualization dashboards, and API integrations.
Collaborate with LCA specialists, UX designers, and directly with clients to define technical specifications, prioritize development tasks, and gather feedback.
Identify and resolve bugs and technical issues, ensuring the smooth operation of our platform.
Document developed tools and create user-friendly instructions, empowering our clients to effectively utilize our solutions.
Contribute to technical discussions and explore innovative solutions, including the integration of AI into our products.

Day-to-Day Activities May Include:

Interacting with clients to understand their needs and gather feedback on our tools.
Working independently on assigned projects, taking ownership of the development process.
Collaborating with other departments to integrate your work into the broader platform.
Exploring and experimenting with new low-code technologies and AI tools.

What You Bring:

We're looking for a passionate and skilled React Developer who brings the following:

Essential Skills:

Proven hands-on experience in software development, with a strong focus on React.
Solid understanding of HTML, CS, and JavaScript.
Familiarity with relational databases and REST APIs.
Experience with or a strong willingness to learn Zoho Deluge scripting.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
Ability to work independently and manage projects effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English

Desired Skills:

Experience building user-friendly applications with a focus on intuitive design for non-technical users.
Knowledge of Low-Code, specifically Zoho Creator.
Affinity for UI/UX design principles.
Enthusiasm for sustainability.
Proficiency in Dutch (written and spoken).
