IT plays a crucial role in realizing our growth ambitions. That is why we are looking for a new IT colleague to support the East-African locations and will be based at our Kenyan location. BUSINESS PROCESS ENGINEER INTERNATIONAL PRODUCTION

What will you do?

Hierarchically you will report to the General manager of Florensis Kenya, functionally you are reporting to our manager IM&ICT in the Netherlands. You will be responsible for IT related process optimisation for all our African production locations (1 in Kenya and 3 in Ethiopia). You will optimize processes within the ERP system PAT, focusing on topics such as mother-stock/production planning, production registration and quality management.

In the next years PAT will be migrated from old software code to new software code (.NET). You will have an important role in testing this modernized application and training/helping users in using it. Production automation such as scanners, tablets, and printers are increasingly being used at our locations. You have an important role in the management and further implementation of this production automation.

For processes and software requests which cannot be handled in our standard ERP system you will write functional and technical designs for the development of tailor-made software.

These projects will be integrated in the overall IT roadmap and will be prioritized based on the business case (cost/benefits) which must be part of the functional design.

You are the first point of contact for end-users in case of problems with applications and ensure that these problems are resolved.

For all tasks described above you will work in close collaboration with the end users on our production locations in Kenya and Ethiopia and the central IT team in the Netherlands

What does your job as Business Process Engineer at Florensis entail?

· Improve business processes by implementing an optimal application setup and bringing new IT solutions

· Create uniformity in IT related processes on our African production locations

· Based on business requirements writing functional and technical designs for software development.

· Collaborate with the central IT Team in the Netherlands for software development and solution of application issues

· Testing new software releases (PAT.NET/Tailor made software).

· Training key users and end users in case of new software releases.

· First point of contact for end users in case of questions/problems with software applications and production automation.
