We are looking for a Frontend Engineer to join our IT Digital Marketing team within the Digital Sales Hub in Barcelona. In this role, you will develop high-quality web applications, reusable user-interface components, and application extensions that support our digital marketing and sales capabilities.

You will work with technologies and platforms such as React, our Web Content Management System, Digital Asset Management, Marketing Automation, and web analytics solutions. You will also contribute to the continuous development of our web tracking framework.

While frontend engineering will remain your primary focus, the role offers the opportunity to gradually expand your experience in backend development, APIs, Node.js services, and data integration. You will collaborate in an international Agile team with backend and integration engineers, designers, marketing specialists, and business stakeholders across different countries and functions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop responsive, accessible, and high-performing web frontends and reusable UI components.

• Build React-based interfaces and single-page applications integrated with WCMS, DAM and Marketing Automation platforms.

• Maintain and continuously improve the web tracking framework.

• Contribute to frontend architecture decisions, with a focus on performance, scalability, maintainability, and security.

• Collaborate with backend and integration teams on APIs, data contracts, and reliable client-server interactions.

• Participate actively in Agile team activities and contribute to reliable, iterative delivery.

• Implement and promote testing, code-review, and CI/CD best practices.

• Create clear technical documentation and share knowledge and best practices across the team.

• Support the team by analysing and resolving second-level support tickets, reproducing reported issues, and identifying sustainable solutions.

Requirements

Must-have:

• Professional experience in frontend engineering or software development with a strong frontend focus, ideally within a digital marketing, e-commerce, or digital sales environment.

• Strong knowledge of modern web development using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and responsive-design principles.

• Familiarity with consuming REST APIs and collaborating with backend teams on integration requirements.

• Motivation to gradually expand your experience into backend development, APIs, Node.js services, and data integration.

• Agile mindset and practical experience working in Scrum teams.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in international and cross-functional teams.

• Very good written and spoken English.
