Electric Automation Business Development Specialist

a. Summary of job contents

Drive the development of electronic product sales in a defined geography. Provide pre-sales product and Application support. Provide basic “feature benefit” and application sales training to sales engineers and selected customers for electronic products

Electronic Products defined as: Servo and stepping motor drives and controls, mechanical ball screw and belt drive actuators, PLC’s HMI’s, CPX valve manifolds.

b. Key accountabilities

Primarily responsible for pre-sales support of all motion controllers, electric drives products (servo & stepper drives, actuators, and PLC‘s Knowledge of typical applications is required

Drive the sales of electronic products through Festo Sales Engineers, Industry Segment Managers and selected distribution. These will be considered your “internal customers“

Maintain good working knowledge of new products and their applications.

Works closely with US Product Management, Industry Segment Managers, District Sales Managers and the E- Drives application engineers

Additional work hours in excess of normal business hours may be necessary to perform essential duties and responsibilities.

Travel may be required via any means of transportation determined by Company for business reasons such as, training, customer sites/visits or a company business event.

The annual base pay range for this role is between $120,000 - $140,000.
