As an independent part of the Demcon group, Demcon multiphysics is a leading engineering consultancy specializing in mechanical and process engineering solutions for complex physical challenges. Our expertise covers heat transfer, fluid dynamics, mechanics, electromagnetics, acoustics, and particle physics, always with the goal of solving real-world technical problems.

With a team of approximately fifteen specialists across our offices in Enschede and Best, we deliver innovative solutions for the design, development, and optimization of processes and equipment in which physical phenomena play a key role. Using a combination of analytical, numerical, and experimental methods, we transform conceptual designs into robust and effective engineering solutions.

As a physicist, you will be involved in a wide variety of technical projects, operating at the boundaries of what is technically possible. You will analyze complex challenges, identify technical risks, and develop innovative solutions that help drive projects forward.

Drawing on your broad physics background, you will connect disciplines such as electromagnetics, fluid dynamics, heat transfer, mechanics, optics, and particle physics. Many of the challenges you will encounter have a strong multiphysics character, requiring you to continuously integrate knowledge from different fields. Using COMSOL multiphysics, you will translate complex physical phenomena into models and simulations, enabling well-founded design decisions and technical recommendations.

You will act as a technical sparring partner within projects and serve as a key source of expertise for both colleagues and clients. You will participate in technical brainstorming sessions, contribute to project approaches, and support effort estimations and proposal activities. In addition, you will present your analyses, findings, and recommendations clearly and convincingly to clients, project teams, and other stakeholders.
