Your Mission

To accelerate our commercial development in China and Asia, we’re looking for a strategic and hands-on Marketing Development Manager to lead market expansion and brand positioning across the region. As Marketing Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing the growth strategy for our biological solutions portfolio in China and other key Asian markets. You will analyse trends, support technical marketing, build customer networks, and coordinate with internal teams to create sustainable impact.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop a strategic 5-year market plan for biologicals (e.g., beneficials, microbial agents, bio-pesticides) across China and Asia.
• Analyse market dynamics and identify high-potential regions based on IPM adoption trends.
• Target and develop commercial relationships with large-scale growers, organic farms, and public green agriculture projects.
• Lead participation in regional exhibitions, trade fairs, and technical seminars to raise Biobest’s brand visibility.
• Monitor competitor activities and adjust local marketing and pricing strategies accordingly.
• Set up and manage a regional customer feedback database to support product and service development.
• You will report to the Regional Director Asia and work closely with sales, technical, and marketing teams in Europe and Asia.

Who Are We Looking For

• You have a degree in Horticulture, Agronomy, or a related field.
• You bring at least 3 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development in agriculture/horticulture.
• You are passionate about biological crop protection and sustainable agriculture.
• You understand the needs of growers and the dynamics of Asian horticultural markets.
• You’re proactive, strategic, and commercially minded—with strong communication and organization skills.
• You are fluent in Chinese and English; other Asian languages are a plus.
• You are based in China and open to occasional regional travel.
