Beekenkamp Plants Ornamentals, an international breeder and producer of vegetative bedding and pot plant starting material, is looking for a motivated Area Manager to drive sales and enhance our brand.

In this role, you manage broker – and grower relationships, achieve sales targets and promote our product portfolio. You will work closely with colleagues across North America and collaborate with the teams at our headquarters in the Netherlands.

Your key responsibilities:

• Sales & Development: Expand sales, meet targets and promote Beekenkamp products;
• Customer & Broker Management: Support brokers and growers, resolve challenges;
• Coordination: Collaborate on forecasts, update CRM, and report trial results;
• Account Management: Maintain customer reports and support broker training;
• Representation: Attend trade shows, trials and presentations.

Your experience and qualifications:

• Experience in horticultural industry;
• Willing to travel (up to 50%) incl. to The Netherlands;
• Strong relationship-building and technical skills;
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong communication and interpersonal skills across various (international) time zones;
• Excellent computer skills: Microsoft Office and able to learn about internal computer systems;
• Proficient in CRM software;
• Mindset focussed on growth and eager to enter new paths;
• Able to handle flexible working hours.
