We’re looking for talented and collaborative Designers who bring curiosity, empathy, and problem-solving skills to all aspects of the work. In partnership with a multidisciplinary team, you help create designs for digital products and experiences, from concept to implementation, that reflect strategic research and insights, while solving for client business challenges.

What you will do

As a Designer, you will contribute to the creation of new digital experiences for clients or evaluate and enhance their existing digital experiences. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary group with researchers, UX engineers, engagement team members and other designers, thus gaining exposure to multiple client industries, each posing new technical and creative challenges.

Specifically, you will:

• Help create clear and thorough documentation and prototypes

• Work to achieve defined KPIs and satisfy users through design

• Share work in progress and participate in design reviews

• Contribute to the creation of presentations, workshop planning, and client deliverables

• Present project work

• Assist with user research and usability testing.

Job requirements and preferences

• Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, UX design, industrial design or another related field

• A portfolio reflecting design experience in a web and/or digital product environment

• Foundational knowledge of interaction design, visual design, and related software

• A desire to work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary groups across a variety of complex projects Excellent communication and presentation skills

• The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary

• Preferred qualifications

• Demonstrates a passion for learning about the world, human behavior, and the motivations that lie beneath the surface to create solutions that fit into people’s lives

• Exhibits strong knowledge in the industry’s latest trends and technologies and is active in the design community

• Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites. A driver’s license is strongly recommended as ride share and public transportation options may not be available in all locations.

What we offer

We offer a competitive compensation package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to our business. The salary range for this job, in the US, is $85,000-$93,000. Individual salaries are based on education, geographic location, and alignment to the market data.

In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
